Asteras, located conveniently close to both stunning beaches and the lively village center, proved to be a wise choice for a getaway. The gardens are beautifully maintained and offer peaceful spaces to unwind after a day of exploring. Our mesonet was spacious and meticulously cleaned daily, with towels being replaced every third day. What stood out was the hospitality provided by the owner, Gioannis, and the staff. They were always available to offer sound advice on local eateries and attractions. In a pleasant gesture during our rainy days, they offered us an extra night free of charge, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. The hotel features a welcoming bar area and outdoor dining facilities, perfect for evening gatherings. With thoughtful amenities, such as free toiletries and a kitchenette, it strikes a solid balance between luxury and value. For those weighing travel options, Asteras offers a blend of comfort and convenience without being overly extravagant. It’s definitely a place we’d return to on our next visit to Chaniotis.
